Hindon River is not just polluted… it’s being ignored
We see it every day plastic, waste, and a river slowly dying.
Most people walk past it.
We decided not to.
10,000+ kg waste already removed by citizens
“Hindon River is not just polluted… it’s being ignored”
And we decided to do something about it
The Problem
Every day, the Hindon River absorbs plastic, sewage, and waste.
It started with a simple decision to show up.
What was once a lifeline is now turning into a toxic stream.
Animals come here looking for food and end up eating plastic.
Children grow up thinking this is normal.
And most of us?
We walk past it.
We hold our breath.
We move on
Like it’s not our problem.
So we decided to stop walking past it.
It didn’t start with a big plan.
It started with a simple decision to show up.
No funding. No system. Just people.
A few people.
One river.
And a lot of waste.
We picked up what others ignored.
We cleaned what others avoided.
And slowly…
something started changing.
More people joined.
More hands came forward.
What started as an effort became a movement became a movement people believed in.
